When is the wedding?

Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Where is the wedding?

Fern River Resort, 5250 Highway 9, Felton, CA 95018.

What is the closest airport?

Fly into San Jose Mineta International (SJC) — it’s the most convenient option and about ~31–33 miles / ~45 minutes from Felton (traffic depending). Other good options: San Francisco International (SFO): ~60 miles / ~1 hr 10–15 min Oakland International (OAK): ~65 miles / ~1 hr 20 min

Is lodging available on-site?

A limited number of guests will be staying onsite at the resort. If onsite lodging applies to you, we’ll reach out directly with details.

Are there mobility/accessibility considerations at the venue?

Fern River is a rustic, woodsy property. We’ll share more detailed accessibility notes and tips closer to the date.

When will invitations go out?

Invitations will go out closer to the wedding. More details coming soon.

What time should I plan to arrive?

Please plan to arrive by 3:30 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. (If you know the bride, you'll know how important your timeliness is 😉)

What will the weather be like?

September in the Santa Cruz Mountains can be warm during the day and cool at night. We’ll share more specific guidance closer to the date.

What’s the dress code?

Garden Cocktail. Think cocktail attire with a garden/outdoor feel. Dressy but comfortable, and we recommend shoes you can walk on outdoor paths/grass in.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Outdoors.

What’s the parking situation?

Plenty of parking will be available onsite for our guests.

Are kids invited?

Due to space, we’re only able to host the children named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Can I bring a plus one?

We're keeping our guest list small so we can spend real time with everyone there. Only those named on your invitation are able to join us. If you're unsure who's included, reach out directly to the Bride or the Groom and we'll confirm.

What will be served for dinner?

We're serving a buffet dinner with real options built in for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan guests. With an intimate guest list, we weren't able to offer extensive accommodations, but we did our best to make sure there was something for everyone. If you have questions about a specific ingredient or allergen, reach out to us directly.

Who do I contact if I still have questions?

Please reach out to the bride or groom directly. Zoe: (206) 250-4501 | zrwentzel@gmail.com Devin: (925) 640-0434 | drugaard@gmail.com

Is anything happening on Friday night?

Yes! We're hosting a casual welcome dinner at Fern River on Friday, September 18 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. There will be a taco truck, drinks, and lawn games on the resort grounds. Cabin check-in opens at 3:00 PM. If you're staying offsite, please come anyway. We'd love to see you the night before things kick into gear.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP by August 15th, 2026 through the RSVP tab on this site.

How should I get to and from the venue?

Most guests will be driving themselves. Rideshare (Uber and Lyft) is available in the area if you'd prefer not to drive — we recommend checking prices ahead of time so there are no surprises.

When does the reception end?

The reception will wrap up at 10:30 PM.

Is anything happening Sunday?

Sunday is intentionally open. We'd love for everyone to take advantage of the day to relax, explore the area in groups or solo, or just enjoy the resort. There's no firm schedule and no group activity planned. We have Fern River booked through Monday morning, so if you're heading out Sunday, there's no check-out time to rush for. Take your time, grab coffee, and go whenever you're ready.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We're asking guests to keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony. Our photographer will capture everything, and we'd rather look back on your faces than the backs of phones. Once the ceremony wraps, snap away!

Where should I send gifts?

Your presence is the real gift, truly. If you'd like to give something more, we've set up a honeymoon registry to help send us off to Ireland — you can find it on the Registry tab. We'll also have a gift table and card box at the reception for anyone who'd prefer to give in person.

Will there be a bar?

Yes, we'll have an open bar all evening with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.

What if I need to cancel after RSVPing?

Life happens — just let us know as soon as you can. Prompt updates help us keep our vendor counts accurate and make any necessary changes to cabin assignments before the weekend.
